East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana Warrant Search
East Baton Rouge Parish arrest warrants are orders authorizing local law enforcement to arrest a suspect. Because a warrant legally deprives an individual of their fundamental right to freedom, they are only issued when there is a substantial reason to believe that the accused individual committed the crime.
Active warrants in the parish are generally public records. However, if law enforcement can prove to the court that making a warrant public may compromise an investigation or make the suspect flee, the warrant may be sealed. Individuals can conduct a warrant search by calling the Sheriff's Warrants Division at (225) 389-5094 or visiting the office in person.
